USA Canoe/Kayak officials discuss Oklahoma City's MAPS 3 project proposal
With the prospect of a world-class whitewater kayaking venue along the Oklahoma River should MAPS 3 pass next week, leaders of USA Canoe/Kayak announced Tuesday evening they will open an office in Oklahoma City.

Absentee applications due
Applications for absentee voting ballots for the Dec. 8 MAPS 3 election are due at 5 p.m. today at the Oklahoma County Election Board office. Applications also are available at the county election board office, 4201 N Lincoln Blvd. Applications can be mailed, faxed or hand-delivered to the election board. Oklahoma County Election Board: 713-1515.
