Remember when the Big 12 welcomed West Virginia to the conference, and then watched the Mountaineers, led by quarterback Geno Smith, go 4-5 in the conference?

Remember when Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones said he was going to come back for another year and then had only one loss in the conference?

And remember when Collin Klein, that quarterback from Kansas State, was named a Heisman trophy finalist?

Well, according to USA TODAY’S NFL Mock Draft, Jones and Klein have nothing on Smith.

WVU’s quarterback is currently projected as a No. 8 pick by the Buffalo Bills.

Klein and Jones didn’t even crack the top 32.

However, one Oklahoma player did make the list. Lane Johnson is projected to be picked with the 20th selection of the 2013 NFL Draft. That would mean he would be a Chicago Bear.
