UT reportedly pulls state funding for 'Sex Week' after Fox News complaint

Published: March 22, 2013
The University of Tennessee has decided to pull state funding from an effort to educate students about sexual health after a FOX News contributor complained that the school was giving the money to a “lesbian bondage” expert, according to RawStory.com.

WATE.com reports that the event aims to help students learn more about sex and sexuality.

FOX News radio host Todd Starnes said last week that the university was going to spend up to $20,000 on the event, which will include events like “Loud and Queer” and an oral sex workshop called “How Many Licks Does It Take,” RawStory.com reports.
