LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming women's basketball has picked up a transfer from Washington State.

UW coach Joe Legerski announced that Gillette native Jordan Kelley will join the Cowgirls after spending the last two seasons at Washington State.

Under NCAA transfer rules, Kelley will have to sit out next season and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

The 5-foot-10 guard appeared in 25 games off the bench during her freshman campaign but missed this past season because of injury. She averaged 1 point and about 5 minutes per contest her freshman year.

At Campbell County High School, Kelley was a four-time All-Conference and three-time All-State selection. During her senior year at Gillette, she was also named a Top-40 Parade All-American and a McDonald's All-American.
