Central Presbyterian Church will host vacation Bible school for the first time in more than a decade.

The church will offer “Son Treasure Island” from 6 to 8 p.m. July 14-18 at 5101 N May Ave.

The free event is geared for children ages 4 through sixth grade and will feature lessons, games, crafts, music and snacks. Child care is offered for younger siblings of children enrolled in vacation Bible school for $2 per day. Preregistration is encouraged but not required.

Church leaders said the congregation is excited to offer Bible school for church members and the children of the community, after many years of not offering the program.
