Vacation Bible school pairs Scripture lessons, research

EDMOND — Students at Peace Lutheran Church's vacation Bible school made some science miracles.

During last week's Power Lab Vacation Bible School , students shot off Diet Coke rockets using Mentos candies, made a little slime and even walked on water using a solution of water and cornstarch.

"If you walk quickly, you don't sink,” said Julia Cohlmia , Peace Lutheran's director of children's ministry.
