Valentine- and winter-focused activities are planned at Lake Thunderbird nature center

NORMAN — Children age 5 and older are invited to make Valentine's Day cards using spray-painted heart-shape leaves at 11 a.m. Saturday at Discovery Cove Nature Center at Lake Thunderbird . Cost is 50 cents per person.

The nature center is off State Highway 9 on Clear Bay Boulevard, across from the Turkey Pass campground.

Children 5 and older also are invited to a new class, “Winter in Oklahoma ...
