Van Gundy would rather act as a coach than be one in the NBA

NBA analyst Jeff Van Gundy , a former New York Knicks and Houston Rockets coach, is in no rush to get back into coaching. Not with coaches like Avery Johnson of the Dallas Mavericks getting fired and Mike D'Antonio of the Phoenix Suns reportedly on the way out.

His job as the lead analyst for ESPN /ABC's coverage looks better all the time. The hours are shorter and it has better job security.
