Deer Creek's do-it-all player Caden Sander to start at quarterback

Sander has been named the starting quarterback for next season, replacing the graduated Joel Blumenthal. Sander will also remain at free safety — where he started the past two seasons — and possibly as the holder, kick returner and punt returner.

McGuinness' Jones remembers what it's like to lose a home to tornado

As a senior at Westmoore in 1999, McGuinness coach Justin Jones lost his home to the devastating tornado that struck on May 3. Jones has made McGuinness' spring football game that is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday.
