LINCOLN, R.I. (AP) — The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council is seeking proposals from restaurant operators and food vendors for an open space at a tourist center on Interstate-295 in Lincoln.

The available space is in the Blackstone Valley Gateway Center on I-295 North in Blackstone River State Park. The center includes a tourist information kiosk, restrooms and a satellite state police office. It had 300,000 visitors last year.

The tourism council is looking for one or more vendors for a 3,500-square foot space that includes a service counter, kitchen, and tables and chairs for 45 to 50 guests. Chain restaurants and local food vendors are welcome.
