Here are a few events scheduled to commemorate Veterans Day in Oklahoma:

Oklahoma City

Veterans Day Service at the 45th Infantry Division Museum

The museum hosts an annual ceremony on its grounds at 2145 NE 36. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature Maj. Gen. Ricky Adams, deputy commanding general of the Army National Guard's Training and Doctrine Command.

Norman

Veterans Day parade and ceremony

The parade starts at 8:45 a.m. and will move from Eufaula Street and James Garner Boulevard down Jenkins Street to the Cleveland County Veterans Memorial at Reaves Park. The ceremony will start at 11 a.m. Maj. Gen. Myles Deering, the state's adjutant general and a Norman resident, will be the parade's grand marshal.

Lawton/Fort Sill

Veterans Day ceremony with Fort Sill's commander

Fort Sill will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 9 a.m. in front of McNair Hall. Speakers include Maj. Gen. David Halverson, Fort Sill's commander, and Darrell McGee, commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5263.

Del City

Veterans Day ceremony and unveiling

City officials will host a Veterans Day ceremony and unveiling of additions to the veterans memorial in honor of U.S. Armed Forces and Blue Star Mothers at 11 a.m. at Patriot Park, 4505 SE 15.
