Veterans Day parade in El Reno is postponed

Weather forecasts calling for rain and high winds have prompted officials to postpone a Veterans Day parade that was scheduled Saturday in El Reno. It is rescheduled for Dec. 2.

— A Veterans Day parade scheduled for Saturday has been postponed because of the threat of inclement weather, organizer Karen Nance said.

The parade will now take place at 3 p.m. Dec. 2. National Weather Service forecasts call for high winds and a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday.

Nance said she would contact parade participants via email with further information about the parade.
