Philip Jones and Stephen Nida from the Ardmore Veterans Center beat Gov. Brad Henry and former Gov. George Nigh.

Each year, Oklahoma veterans centers host tournaments and the winning teams then face off in a one-day competition at the Capitol.

The Ardmore team played Henry and Nigh and captured the coveted Governor's Cup.

"I am proud to carry on this great tradition to honor Oklahoma's veterans," Henry said. "They have done so much for our country, protected the freedoms we each enjoy, and as Veterans Day approaches, this is just a small way to show our appreciation for their service."

The Oklahoma Department of Veteran Affairs, the Nigh Institute and the governor's office are sponsors of the tournament.
