The first live results show of the season airs at 7 tonight on NBC.

With the show going live, Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton and fellow “The Voice” coaches Adam Levine, Shakira and Usher sat down with host Carson Daly on a “Today” show segment Monday.

While Shakira talked about her baby boy, Usher shared about his son’s Type 1 diabetes diagnosis and Levine admitted to feeling intimidated by a recent promotional club gig, Shelton took the opportunity to again clear the air about his relationship with fellow country superstar Miranda Lambert.

The Tishomingo residents constantly seem to be the subject of tabloid headlines, from speculation that Lambert is pregnant and Shelton is cheating to “reports” that they are headed for divorce court.

“You may pick up a magazine or a tabloid any day of the week that’ll say something about, you know, my relationship with Miranda and it’s in turmoil and divorce,” Shelton said. “The truth is I’ve never felt a stronger bond with, not only with her, but with any other human being in my life. I mean, Miranda, she’s my life.”
