Florida State, ranked No. 1 in the country in baseball, lost the game 4-1. The Seminoles may also be the No. 1 team in the nation come football season this fall, when the defending national champions will play Oklahoma State in the season opener Aug. 30 in Arlington, Texas.

Winston, the Seminoles' closer and saves leader, is a pretty good baseball player, but the football coaches in Tallahassee had to be holding their breath on Tuesday.
