Part of City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant’s now-famous MVP speech a few days ago already has been turned into a commercial for the NBA.

The NBA has produced a special Happy Mother’s Day ad featuring Durant’s mom Wanda Pratt, whom he declared “the real MVP” during Tuesday’s press conference where he was officially named the league’s Most Valuable Player.

The Thunder take on the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 4 of their second round playoff series at 2:30 p.m. today in L.A. The game airs on ABC.

And my excellent colleague Carla Hinton has a fantastic feature on “Mama Durant” that you can read here.

Happy Mother’s Day and Thunder up!
