Oklahoma City native Olivia Munn appears on the cover of the May issue of Allure magazine, on newsstands Tuesday.

“The Newsroom” actress appears fresh-faced and beautiful on the cover, and she donned a silk-blend Jacquard robe, bra, and silk georgette pants by Gucci and patent-leather shoes by B Brian Atwood and posed in casual-sexy style in an inside shot.

A former journalism major at the University of Oklahoma, she has some interesting film projects coming up, including starring with Eric Bana in the thriller “Deliver Us From Evil” and with Johnny Depp in the art-heist comedy “Mortdecai.”

Munn, 33, also is dating Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman, star of the remake of “RoboCop,” a fantasy for someone who grew up quoting the original, as Munn did. “If there was ever going to be a girl who would want her man to bring home a RoboCop suit, it would be me,” Munn tells the magazine. “Joel is truly fantastic in it.”

In addition, tells the magazine she hopes her appearance on the cover will be an inspiration to another girl who has “boobs and a butt and hips and likes to eat pie.”
