Pacers guard Lance Stephenson was fined $5,000 by the NBA on Wednesday after he was caught red-handed flopping against the Miami Heat in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
In the third quarter Tuesday, Stephenson took a slide nudge from LeBron James and went to the floor with additional theatrics after he -- not James -- was called for the foul. He appears to pretend he's more hurt than he really is ... or sleeping?
The ESPN crew practically loses it watching the replay.
"This is a comical flop," analyst Jeff Van Gundy says. "I mean (laughing) ... born actor."
Per SI.com, Stephenson was warned for flopping twice during the regular season. He's now subject to increased fines should he flop again.
