Three police officers in Canada are being investigated for a YouTube video that shows them racing their squad cars into the parking lot of a local doughnut shop.

CBC.ca reports that the video surfaced on YouTube and shows two marked police cars and an unmarked vehicle at a red light.

The driver of one of the cars accelerates when the light turns green.

Calgary Police Chief Rick Hanson said his department is looking into the video.

"Bottom line is we talk about traffic safety all the time and when somebody films what may appear to be ... an impropriety then we are obligated to have a look at it,” Hanson told CBC.ca.
