Vinita woman dies in crash

Marilyn Turnbough, 43, of Vinita, died in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 60 in Craig County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Vinita woman dies in crash on state roadway

— A Vinita woman died in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer Wednesday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. About 12:20 p.m., Marilyn Turnbough, 43, was driving west on U.S. 60, about four miles east of Vinita in Craig County, when her car went left of center and crashed into the westbound rig, troopers said. Turnbough died at the scene. A passenger in her car was treated and released for her injuries, and the driver of the tractor-trailer refused treatment at the scene, troopers said. She was not wearing a seat belt.
