Virgin America offering SF-Anchorage service
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Virgin America is offering nonstop service between San Francisco and Anchorage beginning this summer.
The airline announced Tuesday that it will begin seasonal service between San Francisco International Airport and Ted Stevens International Airport with six nonstop roundtrip flights a week.

The service will begin June 6, 2013 and run through Sept. 9, 2013.
Virgin America says tickets are available now with fares starting at $199 if purchased by midnight Wednesday.
