Visitor grateful for loving care at airport during tornado

Published: June 22, 2013

I went through the May 31 tornado at Will Rogers World Airport. I've never been treated with so much efficiency and loving care as I experienced that night. It started at 6:10 p.m. that Friday and lasted until Saturday, when my son came to get me because I couldn't fly out until Monday at 6 a.m. I am 72 years old, disabled and in a wheelchair. I never felt so special and safe as I did that night. The queen mother of England couldn't have been taken care of like I was!

God bless each and everyone, as well as my fellow travelers, who were all exceptional on May 31. I am forever grateful.
