Volunteer boat captains are needed to take kids from Camp Cavett on a half-day fishing trip July 14 at Lake Texoma.

Camp Cavett on Lake Texoma is attended by kids from Oklahoma Children's Hospital. On one day of camp, they are treated to a fishing derby, with trophies awarded for the largest fish in several categories.

The boats launch out of Catfish Bay and all bait, tackle and life jackets are provided. A cookout follows the weigh-in.

Bass and fishing craft are preferred, but pontoon boats are also welcome. To volunteer, visit www.cavettkidsfoundation.org/node/52 or email ggillokla@aol.com.
