Volunteers help rebuild El Reno playground

Volunteers from Devon Energy and the El Reno community joined with Youth and Family Services on Saturday to rebuild a playground that was destroyed by the May 31 tornado.

Volunteers from Devon Energy and the El Reno community joined with Youth and Family Services on Saturday to rebuild a playground at 7565 E State Highway 66 that was destroyed by the May 31 tornado.

Devon Energy funded the $91,000 project and worked with KaBoom, a nonprofit dedicated to building playgrounds across the nation. El Reno children helped design the playground.
