Friday is the deadline for Oklahomans to register to vote in the June 26 primary elections.

Registration deadline is Friday for primary voting

Friday is the last day to register to vote in the June 26 primary elections. Only registered voters of a political party may vote to select their party's nominees. New residents and those who have never voted must fill out a voter registration form in order to vote in the election. A voter must be 18 years old on or before June 26, a U.S. citizen and an Oklahoma resident. Voter registration applications may be downloaded from the state Election Board website, Voter registration applications are also available at county election board offices, post offices, tag agencies and libraries. The registration application must be returned by Friday to a county election board office or to the state Election Board office in the basement of the state Capitol. Those who mail the forms to their county election board must mail them Friday.
