Voters select nominees in legislative primary elections
The special primary election to select a Republican nominee among four contenders for a north-central Oklahoma Senate seat came down to a battle Tuesday between two candidates from Guthrie.
With all 54 precincts reporting, Ann “AJ” Griffin won 40 percent of the vote, or 2,211 votes, to defeat Wayne Murphey , to become the Republican nominee for Senate District 20, unofficial election results show.
