EDMOND — Volkswagen of Edmond has opened, becoming the fourth VW dealer in the state.
Volkswagen vehicles — which include the Beetle, Jetta, Passat, Touareg, and Tiguan — are fuel-efficient, price friendly and high-quality, said general manager Mory Richardson.
“It's difficult for a manufacturer to get 40 to 50 miles per gallon in a decent sized sedan, but Volkswagen can honestly do that,” he said.
Former Ford site
The dealership, at E Memorial Road and Broadway Extension, was formerly a Ford dealership. It is owned by Bob Howard but is separate from the Bob Howard Auto Mall.
Volkswagen of Edmond will host a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, with complimentary refreshments.
