Wade eager for White House trip to see Obama
MIAMI (AP) — Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat are waiting to hear when they'll make the traditional champion's trip to the White House.
Whenever it happens, Wade is thrilled that President Barack Obama will be greeting the NBA titlists.

Wade has made little secret about supporting Obama, who won Tuesday's election and a second four-year term. Obama is a longtime basketball fan and even has an election-day tradition of playing some pickup ball.
Speaking Wednesday about the White House trip to see Obama, Wade said he thought it would be more comfortable to "not visit him when he's on his way out."
Miami's next scheduled trip to Washington to play the Wizards is Dec. 4. It's possible the White House visit could occur around that date.
