BASS has a new format for the Elite Series this year with the top 12 anglers in the final "Angler of the Year” standings advancing to a postseason tournament in September on two Alabama lakes.

The winner will take home $100,000.

Biffle is currently 13th but can move up with a strong showing on New York’s Oneida Lake, the site of the Elite Series regular season finale on Aug. 13-16.

Biffle, Jeff Kriet of Ardmore (27th), Fred Roumbanis of Broken Arrow (30th) and Bradley Hallman of Norman (33rd) are currently among the top 37 anglers that qualify for the 2010 Bassmaster Classic.

Edwin Evers (50th) and Terry Butcher (51st), both of Talala, still have an outside shot to make the Classic but need something special at Oneida.
