Warm and dry through the weekend in Oklahoma
Published: November 5, 2009
Warm and dry weather is expected throughout the weekend, as temperatures across the state are expected to range between 6 and 12 degrees above normal for early November, according to The National Weather Service.
Starting Friday, forecasters predict south to southwest winds will become gusty. And a cold front sweeping across the area Monday is expected to bring temperatures down to normal, as well as a chance for thunderstorms, forecasters said.
Thursday and Friday will see gradually increasing highs in the 60s and 70s with lows dipping into the 40s and 50s Thursday night.
On Saturday, some parts of the state could see highs in the 80s.
