High winds and warm temperatures are in the Monday forecast for central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

Parts of northwest Oklahoma will be under a red flag warning for high fire danger from noon until 8 p.m.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 87. Windy with a south wind 18 to 26 mph with gusts as high as 37 mph.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 67. Windy with a south wind around 26 mph with gusts as high as 37 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 90. Windy with a south, southwest wind around 25 mph with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 69. Windy with a south wind 23 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 89. South, southwest wind around 21 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 67.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 88.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 66.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 85.

Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 64.
