Temperatures will warm up Tuesday in central Oklahoma with gusty winds, the National Weather Service reports.

The high temperature will be near 74 degrees with winds gusting up to 24 mph.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 74. West, southwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming west, northwest 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 46. North, northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming east, southeast after midnight.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 74. South, southeast wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 46. Northwest wind 10 to 17 mph becoming north, northeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Thursday: Sunny with a high near 61. North, northeast wind around 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 41.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 62.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 47.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny with a high near 70.

Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy with a low around 46.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 70.

Sunday night: Mostly clear with a low around 51.

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 71.
