Warmer Oklahoma day expected despite frost advisory

A sunnier, warmer day is expected across Oklahoma after a chilly start today.
The
National Weather Service said southerly winds will return to the area, bringing milder air into the state. Parts of Oklahoma may wake up to frosty conditions.
Rain chances are expected to increase Sunday and linger over the next few days.
On Friday, skies were slow to clear from the west. Daytime highs ranged from 50 degrees in
Bartlesville,
Muskogee and
Tulsa to 67 degrees in
Frederick. The mercury peaked at 57 degrees in
Enid, Guthrie and
Oklahoma City.
A frost advisory is in effect for 41 counties in northern, central and eastern Oklahoma.
Skies should be mostly sunny today. Temperatures are expected to reach the 60s and 70s for highs and range from the 30s in the Panhandle to the 40s and 50s elsewhere tonight, forecasters said.
Mostly cloudy conditions are expected Sunday and Monday, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms statewide on Sunday and a chance for southeast Oklahoma on Monday.
Temperatures should range from low 50s to low 70s on Sunday, and be mostly in the 50s and 60s on Monday. Lows Monday night should range from the 30s in the Panhandle to 40s and 50s elsewhere, according to the weather service.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected Tuesday and Wednesday, with a chance of showers and storms returning on Wednesday.
Temperatures should reach the 60s and 70s on Tuesday and range from the mid-40s in the Panhandle to 50s, 60s and 70s elsewhere on Wednesday.
Lows are expected to dip into the 30s and 40s Tuesday night, and range from the 30s in the Panhandle to 40s and 50s elsewhere Wednesday night, forecasters said.
