Warmer temperatures return to Oklahoma this week

The high temperature Monday will be 66 degrees in central Oklahoma. Temperatures will be in the 70s through the rest of the week.

Daily high temperatures will be back in the 70s this week in Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

The high temperature Monday in Oklahoma City will be near 66 degrees. Tuesday the high temperature will be near 72. The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: Sunny with a high near 66. South, southwest wind 7 to 13 mph.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 41. South wind 7 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 72. Southwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming north, northwest in the afternoon.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 45. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 49.

Thursday: Sunny with a high near 77.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 49.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 78.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 56.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 76.

Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a low around 53.

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 66.
