Central Oklahoma temperatures will rise above freezing Thursday with gusty winds, the National Weather Service reports.

The high temperature in Oklahoma City will be near 41 degrees with winds gusting up to 28 mph.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 41. South wind 13 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 21. South, southeast wind 6 to 10 mph becoming north after midnight.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 33. North wind 9 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 18. Northwest wind 10 to 13 mph.

Saturday: Sunny with a high near 39. West, northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Saturday night: Mostly clear with a low around 23.

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 46.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 33.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 43.

Monday night: A slight chance of rain showers and snow. Partly cloudy with a low around 26. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
