Warmer temperatures are ahead Wednesday in central Oklahoma with high winds, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Wednesday: Partly sunny with a high near 67. Windy with a south wind 14 to 19 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 44. South wind 7 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny with a high near 67. Light south wind becoming south, southeast 6 to 11 mph in the morning.

Thursday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 52. South wind 10 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a high near 66. South, southeast wind 5 to 9 mph.

Friday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a low around 55.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 67.
