Warrant issued for arrest of city man accused in rape

EDMOND — An arrest warrant has been issued for an Oklahoma City man accused of raping a Guthrie woman.

Edward Reif Wallace, 23, was charged Friday in Logan County District Court with a felony count of first-degree rape.

A woman told police a male acquaintance entered her home in April, forced her onto a bed and raped her despite her objections.

The woman also told police she is pregnant with twins as a result of the incident.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Wallace had not been taken in custody. Bail on his arrest warrant was set at $50,000, court records state.
