On Jan. 13, a 30-minute documentary called "Crystal Darkness” is scheduled to be broadcast simultaneously on several local television stations and many Edmond groups, schools and organizations will host watch parties.

A committee recently met at Oklahoma Christian University to plan citywide watch parties.

Nathan Mellor, OC’s vice president for community engagement, said, "We want this to be a community event. I do believe a life can be changed in half an hour, and so this program will be a part of that.”

OC will host a viewing of the documentary and follow it with a panel discussion with experts who deal with drug addictions among youth.
