Water line break cuts service to Oklahoma City homes and businesses

Utility crews have been working since early Sunday to repair a break in a 12-inch water line on the 9200 block of Lake Hefner Parkway, said Debbie Ragan, spokeswoman for the city's utilities department.

A handful of Oklahoma City businesses and homes are temporarily without water as crews work to repair a broken water line.

The break, on the 9200 block of Lake Hefner Parkway, happened early Sunday to a 12-inch water line, said Debbie Ragan, spokeswoman for the city's utilities department.

The repairs are expected to be finished by sometime this evening, Ragan said.
