Workers fix water line break near Governor's Mansion in Oklahoma City

A water line break was reported near the Governor’s Mansion. The break was in northeast Oklahoma City.

A water line break near the Governor’s Mansion on Tuesday was repaired with no damage to the property.

A 2-inch water line broke about 3:25 a.m. near the mansion at 2300 N Phillips Ave., Oklahoma City utilities spokeswoman Debbie Ragan said. The water was shut off to the mansion to make repairs, which were completed about noon.

A spokesman for the governor’s office reports water to the mansion was not affected, only to the mansion pavilion on the grounds. There was no damage to the property, and they do not expect any more problems, the spokesman said.
