The Family History Library digitized collection consists of more than 40,000 genealogy and family history publications from the archives of family history libraries over the world. The collection includes family histories, county and local histories, genealogy magazines and how-to books, gazetteers and medieval histories and pedigrees.
Additions include: Hartford, Conn., newspaper abstracts; Worth County, Iowa, cemetery books; Douglas County, Ore., cemetery, death, tax and divorce books; Blair County, Penn., books; Fra Amerika til Norge (books on Norwegian emigration to America), six volumes; and George G. Morgan's “How to Do Everything Genealogy.”
The website also includes printed family genealogies, English parish registers, Texas and Missouri local histories, Pilgrim Notes and Queries periodical, Michigan military records, Kentucky county marriage abstracts, and Adjutant General of Illinois Civil War records.
The International additions include Ortsfamilienbucher from Baden and Bavaria, street guides to Berlin, Basque settlers of Mexico, Toluca and Jalapa, Mexico notarial records, Monterrey Cathedral, Mexico marriages, and 12 volumes of Norske gardsbruk (farm histories) from Ostfold, Norway.
