— Investigators seized firearms, 869 rounds of ammunition, security equipment and police scanners from a felon's home, Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel said Friday.

The sheriff said a tip from a resident led to the arrest Wednesday of Lloyd O'Hagan, 52. It took about 20 minutes to coax him out of his house at 10101 Moccasin Lane near Harrah, Whetsel said.

Among the items seized by deputies were drug paraphernalia, a police scanner locked to the sheriff's office frequency, and 14 firearms, including one that was confirmed as stolen, Whetsel said.

O'Hagan was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of security equipment in the commission of a felony and five counts of possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction. His bail was set at $200,000.

The sheriff said O'Hagan has previous convictions for drug charges, firearm charges and possession of a stolen vehicle.

“It's not uncommon anymore when we hit a house of someone who's involved in criminal activity to come away with a number of weapons,” Whetsel said. “He was abusing the system.”
