Temperatures are climbing into the mid-70s Tuesday in central Oklahoma.

Winds could present high fire danger.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 74. South, southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 43. West, southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming east, northeast after midnight.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with a high near 67. East wind 10 to 14 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy with a low around 52. South wind 11 to 21 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 58. Windy with a north, northwest wind 26 to 31 mph decreasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 44 mph.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 34.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 63. Windy.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 36.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 55.
