ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) — Three entrance roads on the east side of Rocky Mountain National Park have been closed because of high winds, drifting snow and poor visibility.

Park spokeswoman Kyle Patterson said Wednesday the entrances at Beaver Meadows and Fall River in the town of Estes Park are shut down, as well as the Wild Basin entrance near the southeast corner of the park.

Patterson says park rangers and snowplow operators will decide Thursday morning whether the roads can be reopened.
