Wendy Blythe Smith and Ethan Daniel House were united in marriage on Saturday, the sixth of October, two thousand and twelve. The Bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Allan Smith of Oklahoma City; the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Joseph Dudenhoeffer of Grandfield, Oklahoma; and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ernest Smith of Oklahoma City.
The Bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Robert Milton Walker, Jr. of Houston, Texas; and Mr. Robert Walter House of Johnson City, Texas; the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Lennon (Stub) Blackman, the late Mr. Merrill Walter House, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl Petermann, all of Texas.
The Reverend Doctor Randall Spindle officiated the evening ceremony at the residence of the Bride’s sister and husband.
Amy Ingram Pape of Chicago, Illinois, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were sisters of the Bride, Stephanie DeLee Smith and Jennifer Smith Kiersch, both of Oklahoma City; and sister of the Groom, Erin House Schaefer of Cisco, Texas.
Kaitlyn Paige Schaefer of Cisco, Texas, served as the Flower Girl; and Ford Ingram Pape of Chicago, Illinois, served as the Ring Bearer.
Anthony David Faulkner of Houston, Texas, served as the Best Man. Groomsmen were Kyle Ingham of Amarillo, Texas; Alan Scott of Dallas, Texas; and Robert Sean Schaefer of Cisco, Texas.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the Bride’s sister and husband, where music was provided by Born in November, Featuring C-Plus.
Following a trip to the British Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Oklahoma City, where the Bride is the Vice President of the Fred Jones Family Foundation and Director of Investor Relations for Hall Capital; the Groom is the Director of Business Development for the Mid-Continent Region at Energy Net.
