Lionsgate continues its stylish ad campaign for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1″ with today’s release of a second teaser trailer expanding on evil Panem President Snow’s (Donald Sutherland) propaganda efforts to undermine the coming uprising.

While Snow intones gravely about unity in the post-apocalyptic country, he is flanked by captured Hunger Games victors Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) and Johanna Mason (Jena Malone). The message of the pristine white clip is clear: conform or be punished.

But the message gets muddled when genius renegade victor Beetee (Jeffrey Wright) breaking in with a “pirate transmission from District 13″: “The Mockingjay lives.”

Of course, Jennifer Lawrence returns as the fearless Hunger Games victor Katniss Everdeen, AKA the Mockingay, in the third movie based on Suzanne Collins’ best-selling book series.

The new teaser trailer follows very much in the same dramatic fashion as the first two weeks ago. As previously noted, “Mockingjay – Part 1″ is a guaranteed blockbuster after the runaway success of the previous two films, but credit Lionsgate for making the wait for the new flick’s Nov. 21 theatrical debut interesting with this slick ad campaign.
