It’s been all about The Beatles this week since Sunday’s big 50th anniversary of the Fab Four’s debut on the “Ed Sullivan Show.”
Multi-talented musician and Tulsa native St. Vincent also has been in spotlight quite a bit lately, as she’s preparing to release her self-titled album Feb. 25.
Well, a recent visit to the Comedy Central late-night show “@ Midnight,” hosted by Chris Hardwick (of the Nerdist podcast), combined those two things in a hilarious but sad kind of way.
Witness St. Vincent reading a negative Amazon.com review of The Beatles’ masterpiece “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” a review that is so ridiculously ill-informed and poorly written that it’s completely uproarious in an epic face-palm sort of way.
