Weekend checkpoint planned in Oklahoma, Logan counties
A checkpoint targeting drunken drivers is planned for Memorial Day weekend.
A checkpoint to stop drunken drivers will be set up for Memorial Day weekend.
The checkpoint will run from 10 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday, said Mark Myers spokesman for the Oklahoma County sheriff's office.
The Logan County sheriff's office will participate in the checkpoint at a location on the border of Oklahoma and Logan counties, Myers said.
The operation will target drunken drivers at the checkpoint, with additional deputies on patrol searching for those driving under the influence.
