EDMOND — Navy veteran, author, and expert fitness trainer Cody Bobay will be guest speaker at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Coffee Creek Church, 1650 NW 220.
Bobay, author of “Lose 40 Lbs in 1 Day,” talks to audiences about obesity and has committed himself to helping Americans regain physical and spiritual health. While serving in the Navy, Bobay served as an assistant command fitness leader.
Clark Frailey, Coffee Creek's lead pastor, said the book resonated with him.
“I took a personal health and wellness journey beginning in the fall of 2011,” Frailey said. “Today at nearly 70 pounds lighter, I believe ‘Lose 40 Lbs in 1 Day' is one of the most motivational books I've read — mainly because I know it actually works.”
Bobay has said he is aware of the personal and spiritual battle that ensues when a person makes a bold decision to change.
“I'm not here to judge you. I am here to tell you how to be healthier in mind, body and spirit. I am here to help you achieve that,” he tells audiences.
Clark said he is inviting the public to Coffee Creek's Sunday services to hear Bobay's message.
“I encourage you to hear this inspiring young man and the stories of success he's helped others achieve,” Clark said. “For anyone struggling with obesity or just wondering how to ‘clean' up their diet, Bobay's stories, practical tips, and 40-day journal are sure to set you on the path to better health.”
Bobay's book is available at Amazon.com and through his organization's website at www.bobayfitness.com.
According to Bobay's website, Bobay “breaks down healthy eating and exercise into four simple fundamentals and provides a 40 day journey to help you make a lasting transformation.”
