— Oklahoma's Casey Walker began to grow up his freshman year in college. It was during class one day when the senior defensive tackle from Garland, Texas, met Kelsi, who is now his wife.

Casey Walker's world? It's a small world.

I'm not boring but at the same time, coming up from a kid, I was always by myself. And then I had a little brother. Then it was just me and my brother.

Seven and a half (years) apart.

I grew up in a single-parent household so I had to watch him all the time.

I didn't have much of a childhood because my mama had to work all the time.

It was one of those things, ‘Don't let nobody inside my house. Y'all can't go inside until I get home.' And she's not coming home until 9 o'clock at night. So it's like, there goes the day.

During the summertime, we was in the house the whole time because she worked overtime a lot.

I've grown up a lot. I used to always fight. I was a fighter.

That was like my scapegoat of all the stress and pressure and my dad not being there. I turned to fighting. I was an angry little kid.

It followed me here, getting into fights here. Then I kind of settled down.

Enough of this.

When I was a child, I did childish things. Now that I'm a man, I put childish behaviors behind.

She (Kelsi) kind of settled me down too. A lot.

No. I ain't alone no more.

Jamarkus (McFarland), David (King), Stacy (McGee). They all still come over.

She's getting her master's right now at the OU Health & Science Department in the city so she don't get home until 9, 9:30 in the night.

I'm either at home watching the dogs or … I'm alone again.
